At the extreme position, the velocity is zero but acceleration is maximum in SHM. How can you theoretically explain it?

In SHM, when an oscillating object reaches its maximum displacement from the equilibrium position, it momentarily stops before changing direction and moving back toward the equilibrium position. This means that at this point, the velocity of the object is zero.

However, since the object is changing direction, it must also be accelerating. The acceleration of the object is maximum at this point since it is the point where the object starts to move back toward the equilibrium position.
